After riding thousands of miles so far, it's nice to come into @sierrasteelharleydavidson after a shift lever issue, and have the kind of customer service you would expect. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Surprisingly, they didn't even charge me for the repair that Mark, in the service department took care of after Jay Ron in the parts department tried to find what I needed. Also, thanks to Sarena in sales for helping my brother Slide out with his lid. Now my brother Compton just got back from a test ride. Let's see what happens...

My Father and Friend rode across the country. While there we needed 3hole oil change. They were able to get us in rather quickly. And had the bikes done quickly that afternoon. Here is where the problems started. First the person that placed the zip-tie on the lever with the key had done so in such a fashion as not being able to release it, it had to be removed with a knife. It was places high up and was hard to get the knife into. While attempting this task my father slipped through and cut his thumb very deep all the way down to the bone. Blood was everywhere and they were not very accommodating in helping him with a bandage. Then the gentlemen that did finally come to help, was not knowledgeable. That was bad but not 100% on them. Then as we left there I went to put my feet up on the highway pegs, and sure enough my left peg went limp and loose. It had been stripped out and ruined. I'm unsure of the way they take care of their local customers but I can grantee me and my father will not be back. As for our friend, they over filled his motor oil and he had oil blowing out to his air filter on his 2014 ultra. Absolutely terrible. I would not recommend to anyone on a long trip.
