A little run down. Could use a bit of maintenance. But a very nice hour break for the family one afternoon. Impressive monuments for a city park. Educational for all of us. Pretty cool place for a quick family stroll. Dog friendly, but no places for clean water so make sure to bring some with.

is there a community boxing center near this park ? my grandfather worked for the city of columbia for several years and volunteered during events like boxing... it was so exciting to see boxing for the first time that i still remember 40yrs later
