Every single person in this dmv was so extremely rude an unhelpful, i took my friend to get her license the first time she accidentally put in for the wrong test so they told her that they had walking at another dmv, which they did not. they told her this 3 times. Once she finally set up the right appointment and came in and let her know she needed a mask which shouldn’t be a big deal most places offer masks, i ran to a nearby store to grab one for her and it took less than a minute, they had already taken someone else. These people here have never been nice or helpful any time i’ve ever been here. The man was rude and short with her. this is ridiculous.

Very rude!!! After waiting to be checked in for a scheduled appointment we were given a number and told to wait. When number was called I proceeded to the counter with my underage child to get him checked in for his test and the worker yelled at me telling me to leave. I, of course, said, "But don't you need my ID?" And she said, "NO! He needs your driver's license. You need to leave." ....Um....i have my driver's license. That's why I'm here! If this is what you expect, then it should be stated at check in. Never expected to be yelled at for caring that my child gets checked in properly.

Making appointment with local dmv is your best choice. I live in Greensboro but traveled to Kernesville dmv to get my license.

The last time I was in there thay said you had to make an appointment for anything that had to do with the DMV But you can call them and thzy can tell you if things have changed. Hope this helps.

There are two ways you can do this you can eat the apply for your identification online by set an appointment or you can hear it Greensboro they have a walk-up no appointments necessary it's located at the Depot on the lower level just have to get there early

Wow...sounds exactly like my wife's issue, yes he can make an appointment to have his license renewed or just a state ID! My wife isn't driving now so she requested a state ID which is free of charge instead of paying $40.00 for license.
