This place is awful. Yes, the counter people are friendly, but there is no one at all supervising staff. Packages are marked shipped and delivered days later, items dropped off get an acceptance scan 1-3 days LATER! I complained and was told I was wrong because they scan and send everything out the same day. I have tracking that proves otherwise. I raced there to get something that had to have an acceptance scan Thursday. It got an acceptance scan Friday, so I got a late shipment ding. Those of us selling on ebay/Amazon and ship ourselves have shipping deadlines and this post office has screwed up my metrics resulting in low seller standings. They don't care. Some items never get scanned in and then I am out the cost of the item and shipping when I have to refund my buyer. When there are sub carriers, they ignore package pickup requests. There is no one enforcing employee's rules.

No idea why this PO is getting such bad reviews. I go several times a week. Everyone there is friendly and they keep the line moving fast. Three years in Clayton and I’ve never had a problem.

Something is horribly wrong with the USPS in Clayton. They mark packages as delivered but then actually deliver them days later. They deliver items to the wrong addresses (some delivered miles away). They’ve left packages unsecured by the centralized mailboxes. Some of these packages are medications from the VA pharmacy.
