Stopped in to check out the facilities. What a great little site. Easy access for boat launching. This place is a hidden gem with lots of amenities and hardly anyone there.

I love Camping here in Live Oak, only thing I dislike is no water at camp sites anymore. There are no showers and only porta potties, lots of shade and green grass. It's a short walk from camp to the River thru the woods to a Great Sandy bar to plunk down on in the sun and Swim!

If your not from around the area don't try to stay here there is some local folks here that think the run the place and if you don't play by there rules and share your stuff with them the will bear spray you call the cops and make you out to be the bad person

Great place to camp close to home. Just wish people wouldn't ruin the water there. So there isn't any running water.

No they do not max is 7 days 15 a night an I believe 5 for disabled other then that very nice place cops patrol 2 a night as well
Yes it's a beach down the trail
Its way better if you make a reservation but you have to call the city hall of live oak. And ask if you can take 🍺 battles before you get a tickets.
Yes great place to go locally and nice and quite lots of shade and the camp host (Don) is a great host

Unfortunately they do not have electricity they do however I allow generators as long as you turn it off by 9 p.m.
Bathrooms yes but no showers. Still a great place to stay overnight though.
Beautiful little park beside the feather..great for camping day or night. Not overcrowded, peaceful.
Yes but they must be kept on a leash at all time. And you must also pick up there mess afterwards.
