After going to numerous places to get my avalanche fixed (rebuilt transmission installed at Smithhaven Mazda where I had bought my truck) there was no check engine light on but had a code. It would not go into manual mode or tow mode, it is a pickup but it is made to tow as well, and shifting was not right. So I was told that it was ok to drive, but I don’t want it to be ok I wanted right, so when I was at Atlantic they worked on it and they had a hard time trying to find the problem, taking way longer than I was hoping for but they tracked down the problem and fixed it. Yes dealership fees are higher than a non dealer garage, but as the old saying “you get what you pay for “
