Extremely unprofessional. Sadly I don't have a choice to go to that place. My foster child had their treatment started over there 3 years ago in the care of someone else. These people changed the nature of the appointment that I scheduled in person in August at a re evaluation appointment. They did so without informing me or asking my permission. The way they told me: with contempt like I was responsible of all the neglect. They left no room for interpretation: it meant you're unfit and we will make your life and your child's miserable. The rude receptionist handed me another appointment with no choices of date and time like I was a sub human being. I don't have a choice to go back, that's how the awful health insurances of the foster system work. Do not go there unless you have to.

STAY AWAY This place is unprofessional and money hungry. Just like all the other people said. I called about the complementary ortho consult. Comes to find out it’s only complementary if you have mass health. Which means it really isn’t they are paying. Ok the process of making my appointment they kept pressuring me for money and insurance details first red flag. Then the X-rays they wanted me to pay for were completed by another practice less than a month life span but nope they wanted a repeat 2nd red flag. This place is only good is you don’t speak English you can tell from the clientele or you comprehend dentistry billing because you’ll never know or even understand a EOB. Basically if they were to take X rays again the insurance company would deny because they were just completed and the life span is still vaild.trust me stay away like the other have said. Thank god I didn’t start a treatment plan and was stuck with them. Try simply ortho in wayland way more professional.

A place where you make an appointment and are attended to almost 2 hours after the appointment, sincerely punctuality does not exist. he never sees the patient at the scheduled time I don't know so why they make an appointment if he never sees the patient at the correct time

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE IN THE STAGES PRIOR TO RECEIVING ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT!! — POR FAVOR LEA SI ESTÁ EN LAS ETAPAS PREVIAS A RECIBIR TRATAMIENTO DE ORTODONCIA!! — POR FAVOR, LEIA SE VOCÊ ESTÁ NAS ETAPAS ANTERIORES DE RECEBIMENTO DE TRATAMENTO ORTODÔNTICO!! — If your concerns with your teeth are more severe than just wanting a straighter smile, I would recommend going to another orthodontist or looking into a Damon system braces provider. Bicuspid/premolar removals are outdated and I highly recommend everyone in the pre-braces process to avoid having ANY teeth extracted. I had 4 teeth extracted here which was recommended to solve my overbite and overcrowding (don’t do this to yourself, lol). If possible, save your perfectly healthy teeth and look into expansion orthodontics. Whenever I brought up concerns throughout my treatment as a young patient, they would be immediately disregarded. This is not only ageist but I was ultimately correct and was left with unsatisfying results and issues that other orthodontists and even dentists that aren’t specialized in this field could easily spot. The staff and orthodontist assistants are friendly and can communicate in Portuguese, which is extremely helpful in a more diverse city with tons of Spanish and Portuguese speakers. If you weren’t aware, the Braces Place have been sued (in 2021) for overcharging patients— especially patients with health insurance. They prolonged my treatment because quote, from a lady in the front, my “insurance balance is too high.” The prolonged treatment and the unsatisfying results definitely was disappointing as a patient with major concerns for her treatment. It is even more disappointing to see that they are stealing money from lower income families who can only afford braces treatment with major health insurances like MassHealth. If your teeth concerns are minor then this place might be the cheapest and most suitable option! However, if you have concerns with an overbite or the condition of your bite, the arches of your mouth, and rotated teeth, please seek treatment from another provider(s)! I recommend getting multiple consultations done to see your treatment options. I had my braces done when I was 12 y/o and got them taken off when I was 16 y/o (3+ years of braces!). I am now 18 y/o pursuing my second orthodontic treatment (out-of-pocket now) with a Damon braces provider and am correcting the same issues I brought up before in my first braces treatment. This review does not apply solely to the Framingham location but to all the other locations operated and owned by Dr. Rizkallah. From my experience with the Braces Place practice, I (unfortunately) later learned that orthodontics should not only focus on straightening teeth or aesthetics. It should also involve making sure that the teeth as a whole are functional and to avoid even more harmful issues like sleep apnea which can result from teeth removals and/or not expanding the mouth properly to fit your tongue causing airway blockage issues—this is the unfortunate case with me. Please do your research and be skeptical when it comes to your oral health and braces treatment! You want a nice broad smile, not a narrow one that barely makes you want to smile and just adds on to you and/or your child’s insecurities :’) xxx
