I’m sad to leave this review as the photos and website are beautiful. I left a voicemail here and have yet to be called back. I tried calling several times again at different times in the day with no answer. Their voicemail says they will return your call promptly, however their customer service is anything but prompt. I tried to make an email appointment as well and that failed too. They’ve lost my business as I called another salon and was scheduled in immediately after all my questions were answered right away in the same call. A hair salon should not make you work to be scheduled in as they make their money after having provided their services to you. I hope they restructure their communication as that is a key part in business.

This was the best haircut I've ever had. I'm usually wary about my curly hair getting cut, but Kristin knew exactly what she was doing. I felt listened to, my hair care regiment was taken into consideration, and I'm still feeling great about such a drastic cut after a weeks gone by. Before my cut, she asked me basic questions that I had never been asked before in regards to cutting my curly hair. She cut my hair dry, and it was exciting seeing the cut happen before my eyes! After the cut, I have to add that Kristin also took time in washing/conditioning my hair. In no way did I ever feel rushed. The conversation was great and really added to the experience of my first visit here at Local Honey. She finished trimming my hair when it was damp, and gave me bangs for the first time ever! She was cautious in taking too much off, and took length off gradually until we both thought they were a good length. She finished styling it and found some shampoo/conditioner in my price range; which is also nice. I havent had a haircut in about 5 years, but I really couldnt be happier with such a big hair change.
