Everything was going well and enjoyed our dinner last night until surprised at payment time when told of a 4% upcharge if I used a credit card! Paid in cash and left more than 20% tip (hope it went to the server). We were talking about coming back again with others during dinner but now maybe not. Such a "policy" should be posted on their website, or the menu. Unless we were singled out in discrimination.

Needed a place to stop for a to-go order and found this place nearby. I was weary of the 4.3 stars, but went with it. They closed within a half hour of me ordering and they still took my order kindly over the phone. When I arrived, the host was very sweet and friendly while I waited another few minutes. To my surprise, I opened the take out and it was packaged so neatly and with such care/effort, which doesn't come often with take out. Food was piping hot and fresh-- it was actually quite amazing!! Will definitely come by here again

Savinos is one of my favorite dinner spots. The food is consistently outstanding and the service is great. You can also reserve seating outside, which is a plus. I would highly recommend a night out at Savinos!

An Italian Mediterranean restaurant; Cushing Square, Belmont institution; basic menu but everything done just right. Very accommodating & friendly staff. Chef/owner is delightful. Definitely worth a visit
