Lookup Michael Mastaler bankruptcy. He’s now owns Phoenix Contracting, Inc. now. He installs the radiant pools for Snyder. Be warned. Make sure your contract is directly with Snyder and not Phoenix. Or you run the risk of having him walk away with your money.

That's a tough question as there are many factors to consider. However if it has been more than 10 years it wouldn't hurt to change it.
You generally should wait 2-3 days for the water to circulate then check the salt reading on the control panel. - Snyder pool tech
