Went in for a eye exam. Had them send out my black frames for new lenses. They gave me back someone elses frames with my lenses in them. Took them back and the women told me the numbers matched and those are my frames, moreover she said it was because I haven't seen the frames for a while, like I am unable to tell my frames from another one. I would never go back there for anything. If you choose to use them take a picture of your frames before you let them send them out.

Walk-ins are certainly NOT welcome. I walked in, was asked how I can be helped. I said I was there for the whole deal: exam, glasses & contacts. Guy says to ‘me do you have an an appointment?’ I said ‘no, I’m a walk-in’. He replied ‘It’s appointment only’. I mentioned that the door and the website say walk-ins welcome and he reiterated that they’re appointment only and then walked away. Awful terrible extra bad strip mall service.

Terrific experience. What a pleasure to feel compelled to affirm great service and management at Visionworks in Franklin. We rarely write reviews- almost all have been due to some horrible experience. They consistently exceeded the bar at all levels over three visits in four years. We have no personal ties or incentives with this firm or its personnel. 1. Maintain strong Infection control. Everyone wears masks and actually keeps them on. I observed wipedowns. A patient entering without a mask was promptly given one gratis. We were asked about our comfort level. This comes from the top down and speaks well of the professionalism and care for patients that is absent from so many places now. 2. Noise level. We were not pounded by a sound system. One very quiet radio in one corner of the store. Thank you! 3. Strong and helpful communications. They pick up the phone promptly, return calls when needed, and front desk goes the distance to take care of you completely and simultaneously greet and seat incoming persons. You are not a cog in an assembly line. 4. Excellent eye exams. Much more thorough, communicative and relaxed pace than experienced recently in two unaffiliated businesses. When we said we weren’t sure they had ‘dialed in’ one of the either-or lens swaps during testing they double checked and re-did it for confirmation. Another firm had brushed us off with erroneous prescription which is how we ended up here. 5. Excellent eyeglass fitting. On two separate visits four years apart, varied technicians actually listened and responded to comfort and durability preferences, made recommendations, helped select frames, and most importantly checked fit to temples and bridge and rejected some for us. They marked the pupil location on lenses to ensure focus of lens is in right place. Another doctor firm does not do this practice and we decided to come here for this reason. 6. Excellent insurance assistance. They assisted vetting our coverage, recommending a mix-and-match of items to optimize coverage, and made the business decision to match coverage levels form an insurer they do not normally cover. 7. Extraordinary corporate exchange/return policy. They convinced me to try progressive lenses with the assurance they could be returned or exchanged. I did have to take up this offer and swap out at no cost and received some monies back. Who else does this? 8. I had nearly the same impressive experiences here four years apart, and recognized all of the staff from four years ago. That consistency and retention will not be found in most businesses. Staff are all adults, not kids, and really care about doing a great job for you. 9. In other words, while making the needed profit all these firms get, they want your repeat business, and from the top down make sure they go the extra mile to get it. They certainly earned it and we strongly endorse using them in preference to two other local firms/eye doctors. We wish other firms and health care providers implemented this level of care and practice.

The staff was extremely nice, however after my eye exam I got 2 pairs of glasses and it turned out they gave my the complete wrong prescription.
