A true place to experience Florida's beauty. Water is clear and wildlife is abundant.. Great place to fish, BBQ and have a great time to enjoy the outdoors...will definitely be back.

Visited here early March 2022, and we enjoyed it. Parked at the airboat tour parking lot and walked down the dike for a mile before turning around. We stayed for a few hours, but you could spend all day here - even a week. Place is a wonderful area to see birds (particularly Osprey, herons, gallinules); I'd figure it was a good place to see alligators as well, but we didn't see any. Airboat tours would run every now then- somewhat noisy, but not overwhelming, and the staff and visitors are always friendly. There are porta potties, but bring your own water as well as sunscreen and bug spray; there were some biting flies, and I can only imagine what the summer must be like here. Picture perfect place to spend time with the family, get some fresh air and birdwatch.

We love this place, you can fish off the dock and catch plenty, it's a great place to dock your boat.
