I texted a taxi request 1 day prior to our trip. Received confirmation text about 5 minutes after my request. Everything was good to go. Morning of trip - they didn't show up at time requested (5:45am). Called telephone number at 5:50am. Person answered very gruffly, not with company name. I explained that taxi didn't show up. He shouted something that I couldn't understand, and he hung up. I called back 5 minutes later (waiting and hoping taxi would show up), he didn't pick up the phone. Left message that I wasn't sure what was happening and would have take our own car in about 10 more minutes. We waited 10 more minutes. No one showed up. We had to leave and park at airport to catch our flight. Cost us $200 (instead of usual $13.00 taxi) because we had to get to the airport for our flight. He NEVER texted to say there was a problem. In the whole week we were gone, he NEVER apologized. Nothing. VERY BAD SERVICE. NEVER use this company!!

They never pick up the phone late night and when they do anytime during the day they never have anything available in my area

The driver was timely and courteous for my very early morning flight. When I called the phone was answered promptly. The request to text in the pick-up address, date, and time makes a lot of sense and ensures all the critical information is delivered correctly. I received a confirmation text shortly after after texting in my info. I recommend Airport Taxi RI.
