Dang delicious. That pickle corn dog was surprisingly amazing. Plus that peanut butter sauce. Wow. Friendly staff. Good deal!

I was walking by and the idea of a pickle corn dog intrigued me so much I had to stop and order one. It was one of the best corn dogs I’ve ever had. The panko crust alone is delicious, crunchy and full of flavor. So, best way to describe this is if fried pickles and a corn dog had a baby, this would be their child. If you love fried pickles and corn dogs, you’ll love this. The portion size is huge and I’d say even better than the ones from Little Red Wagon (and those are great by the way). Only negative is the peanut butter, picture advertises it as a dip/sauce but in reality just a small cup of JIF PB. This dog doesn’t really need the peanut butter though. Also takes about 10 minutes to receive since they’re made to order.

This review is solely for the Panko Crusted Pickle Dog. I have not tried other corn dogs here, which I am sure are much better! Since Disneyland's reopening began, several YouTubers discovered the presence of a new corn dog in Downtown Disney: the Pickle Dog. Based on their reviews and recommendations, I knew this was not going to be your average treat but I was down to try it. It took a while for them to make it - around 10 min. When I received it, it was piping hot! After a few more bites the corn dog began to fall apart. Hot pickle juice ran down the stick onto my hand and the panko crust moved independently from the pickle, which moved independently from the hot dog. It was just plain difficult to hold the corn dog, much less eat it. It also came with a peanut butter dipping sauce (not really a sauce, so much as just plain peanut butter) which added nothing to the flavor. Such a bizarre combination. I eventually finished it, but it's clear to me I won't be ordering this bad-boy again anytime soon.

Had to try the pickle dog with peanut butter. It's an interesting experience. It's so big it's kind of hard to eat without resorting to a knife and fork. Overall, it was tasty, though the breading kind of stands out the most. Peanut butter was fine, but not life changing or anything.

We’re in Downtown Disney across from the Lego Store. Not inside the parks.
