Went kayaking on the gorgeous Quinsigamond Lake and it was a wonderful experience thanks to the great people working here! Super efficient, friendly (we had a lovely time chatting with Louis), and taking all the precautions needed for Covid that puts your mind at ease. Looking forward to going back already!

This would've been a 5 star review because it was a straight forward and easy transaction with covid safety precautions that minimized contact to only a credit card exchange for payment. Everyone masked. I brought my own life jacket since I prefer using my own equipment but that's included in the price. We rented SUPs, 2hrs with the third hour for free. It's pretty DIY getting out to the water, nice area but a little murky in some spots. One of the lifeguards caught us before going into the waters to inform us that the shallow areas are closed off from swimming due to the geese and toxins in that area. Anyhow, coming back to the put-in/take-out I was greeted by an adult husky male who was initially friendly, greeting me and asking how my day went. I was very content, and quite pleased with the fact that I hadn't fallen into the waters despite the boats passing by that created some obstacles, so I replied "it was great! And I didn't even fall into the water!". He walked over towards me and lined up with the nose of my SUP rental as I approached the bank to dismount. I figured this was a normal procedure for them, but I came to an abrupt stop from him pushing his shin into the SUP, which caused me to lose my balance and fall. I landed on my knees on the rocky bank which scraped me when I landed. No apology given. There were 8 of us in this group, I was the first to enter the area during take out. Everyone else in our group was allowed to dismount their SUPs without any interference... what's with that? ***Addendum*** 08/10/2020 5pm Wow! I spoke with Casey as indicated in the comment below. Casey is very professional and gave a strong impression that he a man of good ethics and goal-oriented. In our conversation I provided further information to the incident, he listened, acknowledged my issue, then came up with possible solutions that he plans to address to his staff to prevent this type of incident in the future, and then he offered me a second experience on the house. This is more than I expected, and I am impressed!!! To Casey I give 5-stars. I look forward to my second experience with Regatta Point Community Sailing.
