My husband and I had lunch nearby and I decided to check this place out on the way home. As a Pawcatuck resident, I had never been there and was curious what they had. I walked in and smiled at an older male employee in a lime green shirt who only scowled back at me. Oooookay. Walked around looking at stuff when I turned around to find said old man starring at me like I was going to make off with the Crown Jewels. It was extremely uncomfortable. He obviously didn't trust me for whatever reason. Finally, I just stood there and stared back at him until he looked away. The female employee was no better. Absolutely zero acknowledgement from her. There was myself and two other ladies in the store at the time. I have NO idea what their model customer looks like, but as a 41 year old blond white woman, I am apparently NOT IT. Never again will I set foot in this store due to how unwelcoming and uncomfortable that employee made me feel. As for their inventory? It's all touristy junk you can find in any Mystic shop, and the clothing reminded me of an upscale thrift store. There's nothing special that sets this store apart. The shops in the Borough are much nicer. Two stars over one because the store was clean.

Loved this place so much we returned for a second visit. Patty in bedding knows her stuff! I purchased a fabulous Ralph Lauren cover for a super good price. Their clothing selection is… well, fun! So glad a local friend shared this spot.

This store has an eclectic mix of merchandise with wide appeal. Clothing, bedding, soaps, lotions, jewelry.... I've never left without buying something so consider yourself warned 😉
