Half the post is dedicated meeting space, and the other half is a bar which sustains the post. The bar offers beer on tap, a juke box and an open-air section. The meeting space fits about sixty people and hangs some memorabilia on the walls. Outside the grounds are well maintained and include a pavilion and decommissioned mortar pieces. On July 20th, 2022 the Dutchess County Libertarian Party convened at this location.
