My dog doesn't like going to the vet, just like I don't like going to the doctors. But lately he's been sick and not eating well. Age gives it away, because he's 12 years old - an old man already. I brought him here, he was examined carefully and prescribed a special food with vitamins. And now he is eating well again, and consequently feeling well.

In short: I do not recommend this clinic. My experience was a high bill with 0 resolution and lack of professionalism. I came to this clinic on a Sunday for an emergency visit. My 10 year old cat had bladder stones in the past and her symptoms were indicating a recurrence. She was clearly in pain, constantly going to the litter box, straining and only able to pee droplets. So I wanted to act fast and help relieve her of the symptoms and make sure she didn’t have a blockage. They did X-Rays and confirmed she had bladder stones and needed to go into immediate surgery to remove it or else it could be fatal. I asked for antibiotics or at least some type of pain medication and they were not able to prescribe anything at all. I was extremely disappointed because I left the clinic minus $400, a frightening consult result and no solution other than scheduling an invasive surgery. I took her to ASPCA the next day and the doctor’s prescribed her medication to relieve her pain and symptoms plus they gave us prescription food in order to dissolve the stones. They said the invasive surgery at her age was best to leave for last/ worst case scenario. Thankfully a couple of weeks later she was stone free from the prescription diet alone. St. Mark’s clinic could not even forward the x-ray images to ASPCA that were taken just a day before even though I paid hundreds of dollars. I tried to order the prescription food from Chewy and St. Mark’s animal clinic never responded to approve the request in order to get the prescription food, even though I called and emailed several times. (I was able to get this at ASPCA in person). A month later St. Mark’s animal clinic called me to say that they received Chewy’s request for approval on the prescription food and said that I had to bring my cat back for more x-rays in order to determine her eligibility – meanwhile they said she was on the verge of dying and refused to do it when I needed them to. What’s worse – the clinic is very dirty and run down. I definitely would never schedule a surgery here. I’m glad I went to go get a second opinion.

The employees are not professional. I love the Vet but the employees are a mess. I’m never do reviews but when you take your dogs there, please be relax because they’re not professional.
