My favorite fishing spot EVER. I love the nature of the park. I love to watch the airboats go out. More than anything I love to watch nature above while I fish in the fresh air that comes off the water. And also the people who come there to fish. Everyone enjoys the company and shares fishing tips among the smiles and the success of really catching nice fish.

Went here to go fishing. Very nice area after driving down a 2 mile dirt road which was fun in a jeep. Just bring bug spray and watch for gators

It is managment area. There is a few trails you can ride but don't get cought tearing up woods and be mindful of hunters. Go check out Osceaola forest near lake butler and lakecity plenty and trails and dirt roads to ride for days.

I have applied for a quota hunt for the gun season 10 years in a row and been unsuccessful. FYI it's open for archery season and a 3-day muzzle load, with no quota I have had some success at this time off the Cross Creek Road.
