Had my little girl pass away and when I called about dropping her off they were very rude to me. They also wanted to add charges after originally saying it would be free. Made this already difficult time even worse😭

Called at 3:30 about having a pet picked up for cremation after the vet did the procedure. I was told this could be done today via their after hours pick up service otherwise it would have to wait until Tuesday because they were having work done to their machine Monday. The nice gentleman I spoke to asked if I wanted to set up now or wait for the vet. He said I could call back and speak to the driver and have him come get him if so. I said okay let’s wait until the vet comes (in case there was a way to save him). There unfortunately was not, so I called back at 4:45, talked to the driver who put me on hold and came back on and said he talked to the owner who said they can’t do it tonight because they need the machine to sit to be cool enough to do the maintenance on Monday. I told him what the gentleman said to me just over an hour ago. He couldn’t have cared less and just said “well that’s what the owner told me so there’s nothing I can do”. Really very kind compassionate people… not. The owner should have communicated with her staff the day/time for cutoff of pickup for cremations, which she clearly did not.

This will be the first and probably last time that I ever leave a negative review for any establishment. I used their services for the cremation of my dog in 2020 and everything went smoothly. They took her wrapped up in a towel and I requested that that towel be returned to me, which it was. Last week, when my cat unexpectedly passed away, I was out of the state. I had to do everything over the phone and when the pet sitter gave them the cat wrapped in the same towel, I also said over the phone that I wanted that same towel back. It was the towel I had wrapped both my dog and cat in when they passed. It was special to me. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with it but I had the time to decide that for myself. The towel ended up being cremated with my cat. I’m unsure as to how something like this could’ve happened. If they had thrown it out by mistake I could understand that, mistakes happen all the time. They didn’t do that though. They cremated my cat with the towel. In no world is that okay, even if I hadn’t specified returning the towel to me. You don’t cremate a random belonging along with the body of a person’s beloved animal. The reason the woman on the phone gave me was…interesting and I suppose well-intentioned. She stated when an animal comes in wrapped in a blanket or towel that she assumes the family wants them cremated with it as a…hug? I suppose well-intentioned but I can’t honestly think of a single pet owner that would want a towel or blanket among their pets’ ashes, no matter what well-intentioned reason the employee might have. This entire experience has been incredibly traumatic for me and that was an added stress that I didn’t need. I asked for a private ceremony, I never would’ve imagined that they would’ve created a towel with him. Regardless of whether or not I asked for it back. But I did ask for it back. It was incredibly sentimental to me, the woman on the phone did ask what to do to make the situation better, I’ll give her that. The problem is, there’s nothing. I don’t want to ask for my money back though it would’ve been nice if she’d offered but it’s not about money. Money is meaningless to me. This kind of thing is permanent and maybe the employees need to understand that. The decision they made was permanent and yet my requests were never considered. Not even a simple phone call for clarification if they needed it. Nothing. Just a permanent decision made about my cat who was my baby…without any regard for what I wanted. No do-overs. Just a complete disregard for the feelings of the person hurting the most. That’s all I need this business to understand. That there needs to be more regard for the person in this situation. Because for me, there was none.

Our cat died and while looking for a place to cremate him we found this place. The website states 24/7 removal but when we called the man that answered said “I’ve already sat down for the evening” and then said he can be there around 8:30-9 the next morning. Which is pretty useless considering the office opens at 9. You also shouldn’t claim to offer a service if you’re unwilling to provide that service. Luckily there were more places in the area and we ended up finding a better, more professional and caring place.

Sorry for your loss.It should be about $90. (My cat was 0-10#.) Paw print and lock of fur optional at no charge. Urns start at 25. They may provide a basic plastic urn for free but I'm not sure. You couldn't ask for better care for you or your pet.
Orlando Crematory does not have the license to euthanize however we do pick up at your home or the vet office
We do require one business day for our cremation process which would mean you would be able to pick your pet up the next business day. The charge for a 65 pound pup is $120. Hope that I answered your questions. Kind regards
The charge for an 8 pound dog is $90.00 for the cremation. The cremation is private (only your pet in the machine) and also includes a small faux marble urn for the ashes. Kind Regards...Janene
I 4 to 528 back across past airport to narcossee road. 417 would definitely be quicker. GPS should give several route options.
