My appt. was 11:30. I got there at 11:05. After waiting over 2 hrs, I found out from one of the other waiting patients who was also waiting over 2 hrs. (not the office staff), that I had 3 more people in front of me. I asked for a refund for my copayment and was told they would do it tomorrow. A week later, still no refund and after a call this morning a week later (kept me holding over 10 min.), was told that I have to physically come to the office with my credit card. Why couldn't this be done when I had my card in hand when I left the office? I have never experienced such an unprofessional office staff. Some people were waiting almost 3 hours and were still there when I left. I don't care how good these doctor's are supposed to be, the existing scheduling department will cost them a lot of potential new patients. If you want to see how a professional orthopedic office should run, go to Florida Musculoskeletal Institute.

He's a good doctor, but it takes to long to get to see him for appointments. I've been in pain in my shoulder for months now. I can't even lift my arm it hurts so bad. I need a shoulder replacement. My rotator cuff is torn all the way through.

Bad experience this morning. The waiting area had 30-35 people waiting. After the co-pay we sat for an hour. We decided to leave and requested refund of the co-pay. A surly, chip-on-her shoulder person said no and said we would also have to pay $ 50.00 extra if we left. We insisted on speaking to a supervisor who was apologetic but said she could not change anything about the waiting. She did arrange a co-pay refund. This practice has all of the signs of a Patient Mill: Overbook, keep people waiting a long time, and bill as much as possible. An elderly person, alone, said as we were leaving that she had been waiting almost 2 hours and reluctant to go to the restroom for fear of missing her name called. I will be informing our primary care doctor who referred us to this practice. Also placing comment on The Villages resident info exchange sites.

We have both been patients of DR. Williams for years. He is a caring, efficient & expert surgeon. His chosen partner (DR COOK) & staff all are great extensions of DR Williams and his caring. We cannot say enough positives about both DRS Cook & Williams and Megan & Heather (surgical assistants) plus Casey. Casey goes above and beyond the expected performance in her duties. We are so blessed to have them in our "Medical TEAM"!

Depends on your type of Insurance. I am covered by Medicare and the military Tricare For Life, I did not need a referral for an apoointment
