To Carl Pfountz.. It is very beautiful work what your family did to the church.. In my personal opinion, I think traditional Mass should take place again. Rails in the altar should go back up and the kneeling area in the altar too so we can all recieve the body and blood of Christ how its actually suppose to be (kneeling).. basically everything needs to be how it use to.. it would be very beautiful.. again In my opinion..

Very fond memories of this congregation. Was baptized here in 1962. People here were my extended family. Love the pictures of the altar on this page. My father was the one who took down the altar rails, turned around the altar so that the priest now faces the people, and installed the raised platform on which the altar now rests. This was right after Vatican II, of course. Hope one day to visit again. And if you enjoy the shaded yard south of the rectory, my father, brothers and I are the ones who cleared out the underbrush, planted grass and created the lush, lovely, shaded lawn you now enjoy. Those were good days and good times.
