I shopped a few different schools to earn my CDL, then took the time to go up meet the staff and see the school. I absolutely made the right choice, from the first minute on past graduation, they made me feel right at home. Worked with me, teaching me from A to Z the nuts and bolts of driving. I would recommend this school hands down. One question that I asked, as a self pay what options do I have for employers. I asked that of every school, most pushed me back to the same contract companies they work with, long term contracts benefiting the schools and companies. , CCS offered placement services with reputable companies, with out contracts, this sealed the deal!

We are open Monday through Friday 8 am until 5 pm but we take off at 12 to 1 for lunch

Sorry I can't answer your question I just went in for a visit from when I took my course back in 03 I believe you'll have to call them to get your answer
They do third party testing. And CCS is an amazing school. They keep their classes small (4 to 6) so that all student actually leave with the knowledge to succeed
The only books available are online to the best of my knowledge you can go to tn.gov and download it.

My husband just went through CCS its a 4 1/2 week school and then they help you go straight into work. My husband loved it. It's a really good school but it only takes a month. If you struggle with something and need more time they don't charge extra they help you until you are ready to graduate.

Yes we can. We can test you upon graduation, give you a paper you will take to state where you are permitted to pick up the hard copy of your CDL. What state issued your permit?
