Beautiful Springs. Cold water. Picnic areas available with barbecue grills. Heading amazing time with my family. There were people canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding.
Theone Guyonhere
do the rum 138 experience to enjoy all the springs

Excellent I went to Ginnie Spring and then the day to Blue Spring but it was closed in which the guide recommended me to go to Poe Spring a very very nice family place impressive landscapes. We want to return again I recommend it

I do not think that it is. It is only open til 6 Thursday thru Sunday. There arr lots of places not far you can camp though.
No canoe or kayak rentals available at Poe Springs. You can try Blue Springs for that.
Im pretty sure that they are open now
They weren't last weekend.
The signs say its closed m-w
Yes it is pet friendly while the pets must be on a leash. But the pets can not enter the springs. They are able to enter the river.
Poe -no camping , but Blue and Ginnie do permit camping. There is also Hart and Otter Springs for camping. On 441 you have Oleno St Park for camping. At 129 north and 13i there's camp ground and dinner club
It is a county Park. They do have a veterans discount and it unfortunately is not a public boat ramp so the park fee needs to be paid upon entry :/
When my wife and I went, alchahol was being brought in in large quantitys . It was a huge problem. Got very rowdy not a family fun place
No
No manatees in Poe Springs. Crystal River (Three Sisters Springs), Manatee Springs, and Blue Springs (South of Ocala) Ive heard are the best springs to see manatees. I saw one manatee last weekend in Manatee Lagoon in West Palm Beach too! Good luck :)
It is open on wendnesdays but pets are not allowed.
Yes
You can get on or off river, but there is a strict no motor rule on that section of the river. Forestry rides up and down looking for offenders, so be aware
Dogs are not allowed in the water. Dogs are allowed on the ground and on trails. Doggy bags are provided and pod
Yes there are. Bring grill brush to clean with just like you would at home, or aluminum foil..learn from my mistake.
According to their website, there is a $5 free per car. https://alachuacounty.us/Depts/pcl/Pages/Details.aspx?park=Poe%20Springs%20Park
6:am open,,,the water should be cool
Yes they do
Open thursday-sunday, closes at 6
Yes
No, there is still a lot of work to repair the boardwalk, as well as some planned upgrades.
Yes, from 9am until 6pm Thursday-Sunday. Open on Monday's for Memorial day and Labor Day. Park is closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New year's day.
I can't honestly remember if I've seen any dogs in the swimming area. But, Ginnie Springs is completely dog friendly, even for swimming. Unfortunately, it's quite expensive for a day at the springs, unless you only have a couple of people.
