I had a wonderful experience with my tummy tuck. My incision is not noticeable and my belly button looks just like a normal one. I am happy I choose him. His staff is also very nice.

I never leave complaints or comments like this - but this has to do not only with Covid but with very unprofessional and inconsiderate failure to advise patients of UNREASONABLY LONG waits to see the doctor for their appts. You expect it with physicians paid low fees from insurance companies who get backed up from patients coming in with unusual or unexpected matters requiring additional time - NOT when you're paying out of your own pocket close to 25k to see a plastic surgeon. I arrived shortly after 2:00 today for a 2:15 initial consult in order to get my paperwork handled and saw the waiting room nearly full with 4 other people in it and another woman who showed up just after I did - for a total of 6 of us - no one wearing masks except for me and one other person. I wasn't sure if all of these people were there to see the doctor, so I asked the receptionist if there would be any delay in the doctor seeing me and how long it would be and also confirmed with her that my appt time was at 2:15 (as opposed to that being the time for them to handle my paperwork). Although I'm vaccinated and their office policy is to require people to show their vax cards in order to be permitted to go without a mask, I'm not comfortable being in indoor spaces for a prolonged period of time with people not wearing masks - or even wearing masks - regardless of whether they have been vaccinated. Neither masks nor the vaccines are 100% effective. The receptionist confirmed that my appt was at 2:15 and advised me she couldn't say exactly how long it would be, but that there would be "just a few minutes delay." So, after waiting 30 minutes, I asked the woman sitting closest to me whether she was also there to see Dr Rotatori and what time her appointment was. Imagine my astonishment when I heard her say it was also at 2:15 - the same time as my appt. So I went back to the receptionist and asked why my appt time had been double-booked and exactly how much longer the wait would be. A nurse then came and looked at the computer and told me it would be ANOTHER ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTE WAIT. I told them it would have been nice to have been informed about that before travelling to the office or given the opportunity to cancel my appt. The receptionist apologized and blamed it on "a small leak we had earlier today." A CLOSE TO TWO HOUR WAIT (and possibly even longer) - and NO ONE thought to have the courtesy to telephone patients to let them know of the delay so that they could have the option to come in later - closer to when they would be seen by the doctor - or to reschedule?!?!? And the "leak" excuse was hardly credible given that my appt time of 2:15 was double booked with another woman. The fact that contacting patients about the delay was not even considered reflected to me that this has to be business as usual at this office. It was like we were cattle herded into a holding pen with nothing better to do than to sit around and wait. Sorry - not when I'm paying $25k for the services I'm there to be seen for. And also not when it is in the middle a pandemic with new variants continuing to emerge daily. The receptionist offered to reschedule me. I said "No." Too little too late. I should have received a telephone call from her with that option long before I left the house to travel to their office. The fact that she tried to blame it on a leak that had happened earlier in the day makes it even more unacceptable - that they had notice all that time of how behind they were in seeing people with ZERO thought and consideration given to their patients' schedules and time and health.
