We had an excellent experience working with Basement Finish Pros to finish approximately 1300 sq ft of our basement. The layout included a living room, office, gym area, two bedrooms, and a full bath. For us, Basement Finish Pros stood out from the competition right from the start. They were the only company we contacted that provided a detailed, well thought out, and organized quote, which demonstrated the characteristics needed to smoothly execute a large project. During the quoting process, Alex visited our home to see the space we were looking to finish and talk us through the process of finishing the basement and we found him to be someone we would enjoy working with on the project as he was very personable and knowledgeable. Alex was an enormous help supporting us in finalizing the layout with helpful suggestions and showing us different options using his 3D software package showing the complete floor plan. One quality that always stood out to us was Alex's patience as we went back and forth many times to get the floor plan and design just the way we wanted it. This patience and support continued after the job started as we were interested in a number of changes/upgrades as the basement started taking shape (for example, tiled shower and custom wood columns over posts were added to the job); I understand these types of additions to a project can be disruptive, but Alex always made us feel like creating the basement that we would be most happy with was always priority one. After finalizing the layout and scope of the project with Alex, a team led by Igor came to bring the vision to life. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of work and found Igor to be every bit of a pleasure to work with as Alex. Igor carried on the same approach Alex displayed by being open to our input at all stages to make the perfect basement space for our family. One example of this is when I noticed the framing around a portion of pipe leading to our septic tank that hung lower than the rest of line could be raised about two inches to give more clearance in case someone a bit taller than myself was walking underneath. When I brought this observation to Igor, I could not be more impressed with his response, rather than raising the frame around the pipe the drywall would be secured to a little bit as I suggested, Igor went ahead and had the pipe rerouted to bring the lower hanging portion completely out of the walking path, which again, showed me this company was interested in making the basement the best living space they could for my family rather than just making it just good enough to complete the job. In the end, we were thrilled what Basement Finish Pros did in our basement. The finishing of the basement comes close to doubling the livable space in our home, we are already enjoying the new space and know it will be more and more valuable to us as our young kids grow. Very rarely do I write reviews, but I cannot think of a time a company I worked with was more deserving of having their good work shared for others to see, thank you Basement Finish Pros!

We had a major basement reconstruction plan to add a large movie area, video game space, bar, half kitchen and bath. We also needed our staircase and entrance from the main floor to be remodeled. We spoke with several local general contractors, 1 national basement company and basement finish pros. It was clear a basement specific business was far more knowledgeable in basement remodeling and had design programs to make decisions easy. The national company came in very high priced and I never felt the salesperson would be invested. Alex from basement finished pros was invested on day 1 and through completion of the project. He knew exactly what needed to be done in terms of insulation, sound, walls and floors. He also had ideas from the vast number of other basement projects he designed. His primary foreman on site, Stephan, is an excellent carpenter and had tremendous attention to detail. They cared how the project came out. Our basement project is beyond expectations and would highly recommend Alex and Basement Finish Pros.

Basement Finish Pros consistently met & often exceeded my expectations from the first job estimate meeting through the final walk through. My basement project was initiated during the height of Covid 19, amidst restrictions and resulting delays of supply deliveries, delays from my town's building inspectors due to Covid restrictions, etc. that we all experienced during this time. Basement Finish Pros kept me well informed every step of the way... and that is one of the things I am most pleased about with their service... I always knew what was happening with the project... without having to follow-up and ask. As often happens with older home renovations... unexpected challenges occurred... that BFP dealt with and still managed to come within the expected budget. Our new basement space is everything we hoped it would be! My next home project, although a bit down the road...is to tackle a renovation of the 1st floor kitchen... I wish BFP did more than basements... I would hire them for the project in a heartbeat.
