The stove is beautiful but was delivered with 1.5 inches of damage to the visible part of the top. I've been waiting months to hear back--last I heard (the day of installation) there would be a claim made to Vermont Castings then they'd swap out the top plate with the damage on it. I've emailed and called several times since--it's been months. Burning season is approaching and it's still not resolved. Worse yet--no one will get back to me. We were offered $200 to accept the damage that day. We refused and were told it could take a few weeks to get a new top plate. That was this spring. The delivery itself took nearly six weeks once the stove was in because no one would call us back. Then, when we did get a call we told we needed to take delivery as if we'd been delaying. Delays--fine. Especially now with staffing, supply chain, and pandemic issues. Lack of communication, follow through, or appropriate resolution--not fine. I don't expect month-long delays or a high quality stove to be delivered with damage. Even so, we could've been happy customers if they resolved the issue with transparency, getting back to us and letting us know what was happening to rectify the situation. As of today--months later, I'm still chasing people down for a call back and status. Edit: before leaving this review I left one more message to please follow up with a status--this is the fifth email message in the same thread since May, so about one call and one email a month. It was returned undeliverable as "blocked." from the store rep. Additionally, we were supposed to receive a credit for $120 on the invoice for parts we noticed were not used in our installation. No response on that either.

From my delling with the guy at stove juster, I mean king I couldn't recommend him for anything. First he told me to send him emails of my stove and the chimney inside the house and outside of the house. Then he couldn't remember me and said he didn't remember me. Then he wanted to overcharge me over$3100. Wanted to put in new tiles in the chimney. I had my chimney inspected over 2 months ago and my chimney is just fine and no, I don't need new tiles put in. He wasn't the first estimate for installation of the pellet stove but he will never get any of my business. Look around. Don't get ripped off for stuff you don't need. Get several estimates.i went to a different place and they told me I need to put in a chimney tube to the top with a new cap and that will work just fine. My advice to anyone putting in a pellet stove is look around and you will see the difference in places that won't try to screw you over. Don't go with the first place.

I have just moved from the west coast to the east coast, and I began working with Stove King last spring. I needed to buy a high end wood stove, and both Matt & Jason were incredible in their assistance! When I arrived in the east, the stove was already on it's way. The delivery was fast, and the installation by Bert was perfection! I have worked with a lot of trades this year, winterizing an older cottage, and Stove King stands out as a business that honors it's promises, provides quality work, communicates promptly, keeps it's customers 'in the loop', and does it ALL with a wonderfully friendly attitude! I'm certainly a happy customer, and want to recommend Stove King to any and all! Kendra

Stove King can. I bought my gas stove from them and they can service and repair gas stoves.
