I never write reviews but this lack of service and poor quality has to be written about. First, "we " had a miscommunication as to when the wood was going to be delivered but they were cool enough to make me the first appointment on a future day. I was promised aged wood, seasoned wood. The wood that arrived was blonder than my wife. I could see it coming up the my long driveway and thought this can't be the wood I ordered. I took a log off the truck and tried to light it with 5 fire starter sticks with no luck. It smoked and sizzled. It would not light. You can see in the picture the moisture. Normally, I would just let this go. However the woman at the office when I called her and informed her that wood that has been laying in log form and that was cut THAT morning and that sizzles like this isn't seasoned wood. She told me to stop texting her. She has work to do and that they sell out every year. I think Eric would want to know if his product was slipping down a level and that the customers are being mislead. I think his customers opinion is something he would be interested in. Obviously this woman ( his wife) at the office thinks different. Ps she tried to tell me to stack it, let it sit for a bit cause it was at 30 % and that is considered dry. My response is I have been burning for 42 years and I know wet, heavy, green wood when I see it....

Erik's Tree service met our expectations 100%. We received a quote the day of inspection and the crew arrived three days later. They removed a large Ash tree overlooking our 4 bay garage. The tree was removed in 8 ft sections lifting them over the garage. Since we've had many tree limbs come down over the years damaging our roof which was very expensive to replace, we were apprehensive about this tree as well. The crane operator and tree climber worked so well coordinating the removal. A very hard working crew kept pace working non stop for about two hours. A very professional and experienced crew. Clean up was exceptional. We highly recommend Eric's tree service.

Eric's Tree Service just took down a 150 year old pin oak, growing between two suburban homes, with branches hanging over each. They were so skilled - the guy in the tree, the crane operator, those collecting the branches and chipping them, and the continual clean up that went on all day showed them to be a well oiled machine! They had a team of at least 10 workers who, at least from my vantage point, worked seamlessly together. At the end they showed me the rot in the tree - about 30 feet up, which could have caused a lot of damage in a bad storm. This is the second time they have done work for us and we will definitely have them work for us in the future.

Eric's Tree Service provided excellent work on multiple occasions. They've worked on our Connecticut Notable Tree cabling and pruning, removing storm damaged trees, and removing hazardous trees in tight areas. I would highly recommend this tree crew.
