Avoid hiking in July, unless you like poison ivy and other foliage creeping into a very narrow trail. We spent most of our time dodging poisonous plants, fallen trees and mosquitoes. Maybe it’s better in the fall/winter.

This trail used to be almost so over grown you couldn't follow it. It's more clear now. Nice to have other options for short hikes around the area.
