Visited the farm first opening day in June 2021. Do NOT recommend come with toddlers as there are plenty of thistles around a lot of Strawberry bushes so you'll be covered with cuts and thorns. At least nearby in Wilmington was a great little water splash place near All Children's park so our toddlers finally had some fun.

We celebrated my daughter's Berry First Birthday at the Stokes Berry Farm under the big shady tree by the farm house and it was beyond perfect. The location is beautiful. The owners and the staff are the most pleasant, kind and truly amazing people. My guests and all the kids had a blast! We plan on coming back when the black raspberries are ripe and ready! Thank you Stokes Berry Farm for a truly wonderful and memorable day! We took so many beautiful pictures. My guests are already talking about coming back to pick the strawberries next year as they have the best tasting fruit at the farm!!! Thank you so much for having us!!!

We went to upick strawberries today and had such a great experience. The people that work there are friendly and helpful and the strawberries were so delicious and fresh. A fun activity to do with your family. Would definitely recommend!

It depends what you are looking to pick. You should check their website or Facebook page to see what is ripe and when they have picking available. Strawberries are in June and raspberries in July usually. They are open based on how the fields look.
No it has ended. They are doing black raspberries now nut according to Facebook they are closed today to let berries ripen.
Their Facebook page is the best way to stay updated. They update it as berries are ready or soon to be ready.
I heard from one of the farm family members that, it should be available for one more week. You can also check their facebook page for u-pick latest schedules.
Black raspberry is usually at the end of june.
