Amazing place to trainspot some Commuter Rails and is one of the friendliest stations on the Fitchburg Line. Before you say it yes I know there is no freight trains here. What I like about this station so much is the fact that this is in an amazing town, the station is well designed, and I just overall like where the station is set.

Not the worst station, but also not the best station. If you're grabbing an early morning train, getting there early is a must if you're using the metered parking. No overhead car coverage, so parking in the winter can be a bit tough. Taking cover from wind/rain/snow is possible within the station, but there's no doors so make sure to wear a thick jacket in the winter. There's also no bathrooms.

There are also several trains that run earlier than that. You can find the full schedule here: https://www.mbta.com/schedules/CR-Fitchburg/timetable
Yes -- there are spots in the lot by 5 pm. It's free after noon, and you can park in any spot. Overnight parking IS allowed in the main lot (it's the one exception to the town parking rules on overnight parking)
Fills up soon.. i guess around 6.30 am to 7am some spaces might be available if lucky
If you live in Action you can buy reduced price passes. If you live outside of Action the 12 hour rate is $5.15 (with tax). But if you dont catch the first train every day you may not get a space at all. Lot does fill up.
2 miles. According to Google Maps it is only 1.5 miles.
Currently, $10 one way.
