Ok atmosphere. Nice staff. Very good burgers, so great cooks. More like a small neighborhood hangout. One of the few of the places to go in the area. Maybe they do but it would be cool if they had live music or karaoke.

I have been to Anderson school numerous times and have previously ordered an Uber Eats from here a few months ago. Today I wanted to pick up food on the way home after grocery shopping at Sprouts (located in the same parking lot). I attempted to call several times about 30 minutes prior to being done, and could not get through. I kept getting the busy tone, and I assumed something was wrong with their phone system. After shopping I walked across the parking lot to order my food, and upon entering there was a wait to be seated sign. Multiple employees made eye contact with me from behind the bar, but I stood for what felt like several minutes until a woman went behind the bar to make a coffee. She acknowledged me and took my order a moment later. I asked if they were aware their phones were not going through, and she let me know that they are no longer doing take-out orders unless someone places the order at the restaurant. I didn't get the specifics of what they are doing to the phones, but I got the impression/feeling they are disconnecting/ leaving the phone off the hook so that people can no longer call. This was really frustrating, I am disappointed. Also, I know I didn't order a drink, but I was there during happy hour and had to wait 15 minutes for the food to be cooked since I was not allowed to place it ahead of time. I wish they would have given me the happy hour price since both things were on the happy hour menu, and it was happy hour.

I'm torn writing this review, but feel that management needs to know this in order to improve. This has been our go to place for years. Actually going to the restaurant has always been great! My problem is when you order things to go from a food delivery service. Almost every order, and we have ordered there numerous times, has been missing items. I have had to report almost every order for a refund because something is missing. Whomever is taking care of these to-go orders is doing a terrible job, and it's so disappointing. I know you guys can do better! Coming from a loyal customer, PLEASE GET IT TOGETHER!

I'm officially a McMenamins mark 😅 I had so much fun for my birthday at Anderson School that I had to check out the Mill Creek Pub on my way home from work. It's a small bastion of the McMenamins empire with more types of beer than I can safely drink in one sitting as well a very friendly wait staff. I may very well stop home here on my way from work again soon 😊
