Dusty. Bring your own water... or water for your dog. They have a water dish attached to a rain barrel. There is a water fountain with a dog spigot in the picnic area by the zoo if you forget.

Yes there is a off leash are down the hill from the fort very nice small & lg dog and wooded area
It's about 1/2 fenced in. There are walking trails that go through the dog park with no gates. Go to Fort Steilcoom in Lakewood for a much larger dog park that's all fenced in.
