Needed a new ss card setup account online but have to wait to finish account up to 20 days to recieve a code thru the actual mail to then finish acount setup to then go back online to request a new card which will take at least 14 days. Option 2 make appointment online at local office easy right go to website just to find out that's not a thing on the website but you can subscribe to local office for the latest news! Option 3 call make appointment with local office...no local office number available online secrecy is key here. So, I call national number wait 45 minutes to see if they can make appointment or help....no they can not. Option 4 go in person wait in line to make appointment, just to come back at said appointment to then request a new social security card to then wait 14 days for new card to arrive in the mail. In conclusion it must be nice to have a government job, if you're lazy and incompetent working for the government is the perfect employer in fact they prefer it.

I called the day before I went to make sure I didn't need an appt. The lady just told me to show up and I should be all set. When I arrived I thought the door was locked because there was a keypad on it. So while I was looking around for a # to call or a bell to ring the security guard came out and said the door was open lol. He was very friendly. After checking in at the kiosk, I sat down and was there for about 2 minutes before I got called over by the clerk. The whole process from me pulling into their parking lot to leaving took about 10 minutes. This was probably the best experience I've ever had at a government facility 😅

The most I can tell you is to get a Direct Express card
With the right paperwork, yes you can
I believe they are still only accepting appointments for urgent issues. But they have a drop box that is available in the waiting room during office hours, if you don't want to mail in your forms or documents. I suggest calling to determine the best course of action for what you need.
Get in contact with a Medicare Advisor and explain your situation. As far as I know, everyone who reach age 65 has to enroll into Medicare, if you don't do it before reaching age 65, you'll will get penalized with a percentage of you SS Income when you start withdrawing money for your retirement. Which means you will get less money from your Social Security benefits for not enrolling into medicare on time. That's what happened to my father who is 70 years old now and he is paying the consequences for not being informed at the right time. I would recommend you get in touch with them and get all the information you need to do what is best for you. I hope this help to respond your question. Good luck Sin!
He should call his local servicing office. They can review his options, explain how work affects eligibility and help him file if he decides he wants to. He can also file online and his application will be reviewed by a claims specialist.

You can mail in the application and original ID. There is no drop off due to COVID
you can call there to make an appt esp if you cant sit there for hrs
Yes you can go in the Warwick office to do that.
Go down to the office still do it right then and there
How do I schedule for appointment?
no
Nothing keep working, when your ready file.
Just go down to the Social Security office with an ID and your birth certificate if you have it then they'll give you a temporary one then your real one will come in the mail about two weeks later
They'll give you a letter saying that you applied which is just as good as your card and then your card will be mailed to you 7 to 10 days
Better off going there, in and out. On the phone your there for 3 days.
I got one two weeks ago I had to bring medical records from the hospital with your social security number on it your date of birth on it your address on it they wouldn't take anything else must be the new thing I was told
Yes
A copy of your divorce decree, ID and birth certificate
You can do it online it's pretty easy, just READ and FOLLOW the instructions.
No, u have to have identification for each person, go to socialsecurity.gov look at REPLACEMENT card.
You can call and ask them which is better. Personally I would make an appointment so you don't have a long time waiting once you're there
Yes, But for myself I no longer had a land line for a home phone so I could not access my acct online. I had to call them.
