*update* We were lied to big time. We were promised a certain layout (the front of the house layout) which we paid extra for, and a few months later they told us it wasn't available because our neighbors had the same one. We didn't get the money back but they gave us an "incentive" that was available for everyone. Joel then started avoiding all calls and we kept getting the run around when calling in. They didn't inform us of the hoa policies that were important (which I understand is partially my fault for not reading the hoa guidelines) Would never purchase a home from highland homes. Most happy reviews haven't been updated. No one in our community is happy with their buying process. *old review* Rating is based of experience with the staff at the model home. We were fortunate enough to work with Joel Rodriguez on 02/23/2020. Joel took his time, and walked us through everything, as we were first time home buyers. We gave him our budget, and he worked around it, showing us the best options. Pricing is reasonable for the location, and some of the cheapest you'll find in central florida.
