UPDATE: Called Best Western and they were so rude and didn’t care and were hard against any form of returning any money to me for what we experienced cleaning their disgusting carpet! Pros: location was excellent, pool was great, hotel was newer looking and nicely appointed, overall was clean (except for carpet in room-see below). Cons: super expensive, not a lot of healthy breakfast options, front desk not so hospitable, never got new towels. First, the cleaning staff/breakfast staff was very nice, helpful and hospitable, but I don’t think they have the tools or time to do their job well. Second, the lobby and rooms are very nice and well appointed. Didn’t have any hot water issues in August. **The room however smelled like some chemical disinfectant was sprayed all over the room. It was unbearable for me. I asked the front desk and they couldn’t tell me what the smell was and if other rooms smelled the same. ***Recommendation to hotel: Use unscented cleaning products and actually clean the carpet. I ended up buying my own steam water vacuum and sanitized the floor and carpet with it (just using very hot water). WHAT I FOUND WAS ATROCIOUS AND THE MOST DISGUSTING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN! ***There was so much brown water, lots and lots of sand, and hair! It was awful! But thankfully it got the smell out and the floor was deep cleaned! The other issue was we always put towels outside and never got any new towels back. Everyday after the beach we had to call for towels. ***The pool was a big hit with my kids, but the area did not appear to be well cleaned either. Breakfast is free, but almost entirely junk food with very limited healthy options. ***Front desk needs more hospitality training for sure. I SUGGEST THIS HOTEL DO A REAL DEEP CLEAN OF THE MATTRESSES SND CARPETS AND VACUUM DAILY! WITH A Update to this review: Neither Best Western or this hotel owner has offered me anything in return for this. After having Covid and dealing with many health issues, I reached out to them and they said I waited to long. First they thanked me and said they were going to contact the hotel owner to correct this and see how it doesn’t happen again. Then when I said I would like some reimbursement they said it was too long since I stayed and the information is not useful anymore. I said you don’t know what me and my family have been through and they didn’t care. I said, you just told me you were going to contact the manager to fix the situation and make sure it doesn’t happen. Now that I asked for some compensation they said it’s too late. WHAT A JOKE! They went back on their word. STEEMER CARPET CLEANER SO PEOPLE DONT HAVE TO BREATH IN CHEMICAL FUMES! I recommend the hotel by a steam cleaning vacuum, use unscented cleaners, retrain the front desk to be more hospitable, provide some more healthier options for breakfast.

Well, the guy who brought me there is an idiot, the water in the shower was luke warm, the TV service needs major updating to the 2020s, the pillows on the beds are SO THICCC, but idk, it was a hotel room. 🤷‍♀️
