Worst experience on their billing practices!

I had the worst experience of my life . I have Anxiety and i am claustrophobic. Last year I went and took my medication when I was home . It takes two hours too kicked in. I got a ride to the place which is 45 minutes away. Checked 3 the time on my time of appt as the automatic calling gave me another time. They said I need to come in at 9:30 as I was taking meds before . They said appt was 10:00. I said i take meds at home so didn’t understand why i had to come in 30 mins earlier . I got a ride . Got there at 9:30 down and checking in took 5 minutes. Continue to sit and see one person after another go in. At 10:15 I questioned What was going on. Was told since I take meds they have me come in early so the meds kick in. I said I take my meds at 8:00 am at home so they would kick in. Now my anxiety the roof . They expect me to sit in a waiting room for 90 mins before an appt. Unacceptable.

Shady and fraudulent billing practices. I had health insurance that covered 100% of the procedure, gave them all my insurance information, before my appointment and made sure it was all covered. But they never billed my insurance company, and instead of fixing there mistake or contacting me. They sent the bill to a collection agency. Unthinkable and inexcusable incompetence, avoid like the plague.
