A modern version of the type of hardware/garden center I remember visiting with my dad back in the 50’s & 60’s. Not a huge warehouse where it takes you 15 minutes to walk thru looking for something. Agway is well stocked and usually has everything I need. Lots of friendly service and quality items. I highly recommend Agway.

Hi Paul, Great question! We have a variety of soil mixes that are ideal for transplanting. One particular recommendations would be our custom blend "Cape Cod Planting Mix" is a rich mixture of soil, peat, and organic compost which we find is perfect for our local soil conditions. We have a 1 cubic foot bag for $4.99. Happy planting!
