This was my family's parish for decades. My parents were married here on October 16, 1950 and I was baptized here in January 1965. Please note that several of the reviews here are for the St. Anne's Shrine in STURBRIDGE, MASS. This is the FALL RIVER St. Anne's Shrine! There are NO grounds to walk on, NO steep hills, NO outdoor Stations of the Cross, and NO display of Russian icons in the gift shop--those are all in STURBRIDGE! The Fall River shrine is in the middle of the city in a densely-populated neighborhood about a mile south of downtown.

St. Anne Shrine area is beautiful. The grounds are natural and easy to walk – albeit there are steep hills. The stations of the cross are located along the path and are very moving. There are statues throughout. Great views for photos. The gift shop is huge with a Russian artifact exhibit as well. Everything Catholic in there – good for gifts. Highly recommend both the walk and the gift shop.

It is a very beautiful, reverent, and peaceful place of prayer. It was a wonderful experience. The people there were very gracious, kind and thoughtful. I am so glad that I was able to go there, and I hope to joyfully return again in the future. To all whom I met at the Gift Shop I want to thank you so much for your help, and your kindness.
