My stay at the Andover In was lovely. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean and spacious. I met colleagues in the restaurant for drinks and the service was excellent. Two things that are important to know, but didn't have a negative impact on my stay are that there is a master switch in the hotel room that needs to be turned on in order for the bathroom lights to work, but not the other lights; this took a minute to figure out. Also, the Inn and it's parking are not labeled well in the dark. I only recognized it from having viewed the website earlier, while other in my group drove passed it. These occurrences did not negatively impact my stay, but may help with confusion of other guests. I would recommend this hotel and would also return.

The food is very good to excellent, nice presentation. The dining room is appointed well, dark wood paneling, nicely carpeted, white linens, fresh flower and small candle on each table. The menu has a variety of options but not typical fare and not overwhelming. Service always top notch, staff is knowledgeable about the menu and preparations. A bit pricey, two of us tonight had split an appetizer, 1 soup, 1 salad, two dinners( $25 & $32) 1 glass of house wine and split a desert- $125.00, but not out of line considering the quality, service, and atmosphere. All in all, a very pleasant dining experience.

I stayed here for a work trip where we had our meeting in the hotel. It's an older building but it's immaculate and the rooms are spacious and quite lovely. I loved the natural light in the rooms and the staff was all very lovely to deal with. The hotel is also in walking distance from downtown which is nice to get something to eat. I would absolutely stay here again if I'm in Andover!
