Portland Saturday Market is much bigger than it looks. It's huge! There are well known artists, stunning jewelry shops, toys, rocks, and eclectic merchandise as far as the eye can see. I've lived here most of my life and I'm surprised I'd never been to the Portland Saturday Market before. Well worth visiting, especially if you have out of town guests to entertain.

a great place full of talented artists of all mediums, HOWEVER: some vendors are selling explicit items so if you have children under at least 16 i would recommend either not bringing them or scouting ahead. really disappointing to see (and believe me, i'm the least bit celibate or conservative you can be.) also, because it's downtown Portland, watch out for human and/or dog feces in the streets. classy.

I enjoyed walking around and sampling different foods and browsing the many vendors who sell their wares. Two Navy ships were anchored and offering ship tours but the lines were so long i passed on that.

Haven't been there in a few years. Sure gas changed a lot. What made it unique seems to have disappeared. The feel isn't there. Did get a couple catnip pillows and that's it.

On the street within a block, but it's usually taken and has max parking times. The Max goes by Saturday Market. I usually park in the garage where Nordstrom used to be at Pioneer Square and then I'll catch the Max. Some people park at Lloyd center for free and catch the Max in. If you go into Google Maps and just type "parking", it will show you everything in the area around where the map is centered. Good luck!
There most certainly are, Fred! So many tshirts you won't know what to do with them all! 😊
Yes, but it is currently only open on Saturdays and not Sundays.
You can apply to become a supplier on their website: www.portlandsaturdaymarket.com
According to their website, they are not open again until February 29th. At that point they will be open 10 - 5.
I do believe there are a lot of different vendors selling handmade bracelets. Just have to look around.
Yes, there are porta potties available for public use.
The Portland Saturday Market is an arts & crafts market in Waterfront Park that is open both Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 11-4:30. We have several artists that do henna tattoos. Please visit our website for a list of those vendors. https://www.portlandsaturdaymarket.com/vendors/by-category/health-wellness/henna-face-painting The Portland Farmers Market at PSU is open on Saturdays only and do not have henna artists
At Tigard transit center take bus north to Beaverton transit center. Take max blue line east and get off at Skidmore Fountain. If you are new to Portland, I would suggest downloading the TRIMET app available for Android and iOS in their respective stores.
Correct. It reopens March 2nd. Then is open every sat and sun through Dec 24th. They have been advertising the start date for a while. Im surprised that happened.
No it does not. It happens rain or shine :) some areas of the market are covered as well.
If you find free parking its crowded and usually taken, i usually park then take then take the max
This weekend and December 16 to December 24 Saturday Market will be open
Most of the official Saturday market is covered.
Saturday Market is not open in the evening. It is open during the day and it is safe for children.
Most likely. Rain or shine, and it's not indoor dining so it doesn't need to close
Hi--We will be open May 1 and all Saturdays (not Sundays) moving forward.
There is a red information booth at the market that can provide you with an information packet describing the process and giving you so the application forms. Your work needs to be vetted.
No, it's closed the day after thanksgiving
Stop by under the Burnside Bridge. ..
The Saturday Market is a collection of individual craftsmen, artisans, and resale vendors who each have their own systems of payment.
I believe there is a websight with all details and a contact number. If they dont have somewhere to rent there, they should have one close by. Best of luck.
Portland Saturday Market is open every Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 11-4:30 March through Christmas regardless of any other events in Waterfront Park. Cheers https://www.portlandsaturdaymarket.com/visit-the-market/hours-directions/
It's Usually By The SkidMore Stop. It's Round Abouts That Area.
Yes, we are open Saturday 10-5 & Sunday 11-4:30, March through Christmas Eve. and the week before Christmas for our Festival of the Last Minute.
Oregon has laws prohibiting it but that doesn't mean the police will do anything about it in Portland.
You don't need any more. You're literally asking the question on the app you can use to answer it
No, but there are several dispensaries nearby who do.
No. Saturdays and Sundays, March - Christmas Eve. Also, the week before Christmas for the Festival of the Last Minute.
This is a ratings forum for consumers. Try the city of Portland website for information. Thanks

From the trimet website.. "If you are planning on bringing your service animal on a bus or train, please follow these guidelines: Your animal must be on a leash or in a closed carrier, remain under your control and behave appropriately. The animal must remain at your feet or on your lap."
TriMet Lift drops off in front of Portland Firestation No. 1 on Natio Parkway. That is just across the street from Portland Saturday Market. Very close.
Street performers just pick spots. It isn’t reserved but there are performers out there :)
contact them
It's open March through Christmas
December 16 for Festival Of The Last Minute
Bus or train is best, parking can be scarce and a bit on the expensive side
