Great place to go hiking. It's an easy trail and very beautiful

Very nice easy trails. Good for children and older adults. No steep climbs. All trails are very well marked

Gorgeous!

Trails are mostly in good shape. Portions are still icy, and there are others that have a thin layer of mud that will lay you out if you're not careful. Not much wildlife but it's still winter. Just a few other people on the trails. A great day overall!

Because My great-grandfather, who is the one who donated it, his middle name was Fort, Thomas Fort Tisdell.he and his wife Ester had it in their will for the property to be donated to the Audubon Society.
Hi Betty, Paige from Audubon Society of Rhode Island here. We appreciate you taking the time to report these issues - thank you! We are an independant non-profit and unfortunately do not have the resources to have 24/7 "rangers." We try to spread the word as best we can about our trail use guidelines, but unfortunately there are people who intentionally disregard our rules, or simply are not aware of them.
Yes there is a lot at the trail head.
