Happy to call Modera Medford home! We moved in back in April because our rent skyrocketed at our previous apartment to extremely crazy prices! My husband and I visited Modera a few weeks before our wedding. It was a pretty stressful time, but Monica was extremely helpful during the whole moving process. She gave us an in-depth tour of the entire building and was so sweet and welcoming. It seemed like she had a good rapport with every resident that walked by which was very reassuring - she knew everyone’s names and their dogs! Monica is definitely the reason we decided to move in, besides the fact that the apartments are nice and modern, nice amenities, 2 floor gym, swimming pool, and great location. We’re so close to a Assembly Row and about 10-15 mins from Boston! We travel often so the location from the airport is also convenient which is awesome, can’t beat being 10-15 mins from an airport. I also love how there’s a trail by the river right behind the building which is great for walking, running, and biking. It’s so nice to look out my window and see the kayakers and crew team; not to mention Modera has free kayak rentals! I’ve only had to request maintenance once, but when I did they came the same day and fixed the problem. Overall, my husband and I are very happy that we chose Modera and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking!

Modera Medford has modern, spacious apartments that is conveniently located near downtown Boston. The apartments seem to be well constructed since I don’t hear my neighbors next, above, or below me. This is probably also due to how respectful neighbors here are in regards to noise. Maintenance has been quick to assist if there are issues, and has even come by early on a Saturday to fix my washer. Monica has also been helpful throughout the leasing process, and is very responsive if I have any questions. She has helped with favors, including bringing a dolly to my apartment when I needed it for a weekend. I would highly recommend her if you are potentially looking to rent here. The only issues/concerns are that Modera Medford sits next to a commercial building that does construction. Since my apartment faces this building, I will hear construction noises early in the morning, but usually ends towards the end of the morning. There has also been a number of times the police have come on the property since I moved here a couple of months ago. It appears from the other reviews that theft and unwanted people are an issue, as well as unruly residents. Though, I personally have always felt safe here even at night.

New to MA and happy we chose to live here, the location is ideal and we love the river view, the building is super doggy-friendly which is a plus, our dog has many friends.They also have a great maintenance team that works very hard to solve every issue as fast as possible. Monica has been very supportive through every process we have had, always very attentive and open to help with every situation, always going above and beyond for the residents of the building. and all the doggies in the building love her! definitely an important part of the Modera family.

Management is great, always willing to help and support with demands. The building has very good gym, very nice facilities, club house and deck. Pool area is also great (could be open for little longer though). Monica is the manager and she is great!
