BEST dance hall. I've been to the country swing nights on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The atmosphere there is indescribable, but I'll try: the room itself is way cool with vintage wood walls, brick pillars sprinkled throughout, and soft lighting, which sets a magical tone. There's the main room where most of the dancing takes place, but there's also a back room where people can practice lifts and other moves away from the crowd and loud music. And you just feel so alive because of the amazing dancing you and your partner are doing (haha) and the palpable energy in the room. It's the best when the next song comes on and it's the line dance everyone has been waiting for so the room erupts in screams and shouts and people surge to the center to start the dance. Everyone is so accepting and friendly - no need to come with a partner because you'll be sure to get asked at least a dozen times before the night is through. The lessons at the beginning before the free dancing starts are great for learning new moves and polishing your skills a little more. For anyone that wants a quality place to dance the night away, make new friends, and truly live...This. Is. The. Place.

I had the honor of officiating a private wedding at Southworth Hall in Provo last Saturday. The owner, Miguel, does a great job in taking care of the guests and couple. There is a nice sound system for the processional music, which he handled. This venue is beautiful, as you can tell from my attached photos. The brickwork and wood makes for great pictures. If you are looking for a venue for a wedding, dance, family reunion, gathering, or whatever you need space for, call Miguel. This is a great location!
