Unfortunately, our stay occurred right after a tornado had touched down in the area. All hiking trails and some activities were shutdown. We plan to return after the trails are opened.....Hopefully this fall for a deeper exploration. Be sure to call ahead to find out times for the wagon tour ($3 pp) and house tour.

A very historical farm and a pioneer in modern farming practices. Along with the filming of Shawshank Redemption here and Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall were married here. The smaller house was where a mass murder took place.

It was a beautiful place to take a walk. My son loved seeing the animals. They have a nice souvenir shop and a playground. We also take a drive around to see nature. Been there twice and will always come back.

Always a pleasure to visit this treasure of a place. The history alone is enticing enough. Whether you are interested in Native American lore, Louis Bromfield and his accomplishments, or the eerie legends surrounding the Ceely Rose murders, …

Yes, contact them directly for more information
Best thing would be to call the office and ask for the Spinner & Weavers Guild contact. They use to meet monthly.
All sessions are a great time to visit. You might enjoy the maple syrup festival in the early spring, or maybe the heritage days during late summer. It is beautiful all year round!!
That i am not sure of. I didn't get to see alot of it. We want to go back
The house is closed for the foreseeable future. But the farm and out buildings are open to walk through and you can bring your dog into those buildings
Hi Loraine, thank you for your interest in Malabar! Due to COVID, our house tours have currently been suspended. However, we will adjust as state restrictions are adjusted. Our Facebook page has the most up-to-date information and we will post as soon as house tours can resume. Find us at: www.facebook.com/malabarfarm. Thank you!
Hi Nancy! Yes, the house is open for tours on the 20th. The times are noon, 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. They are $5 for adult, $3 for children (6-17), and free to ages 5 and under. We also accept Golden Buckeye. If you have a large group, please call our office at 419-892-2784 to accommodate. We hope to see you soon!
I don't really understand the question. I see no reason why they would not be allowed, they are people too
The RV can park in the lot everything is within walk from there.
Dogs are permitted!100% and there are horses on some trails so be cautious. Also spray them with with a mix of lemon grass oil, eucalyptus oils and water to prevent them from being bitten by mosquitoes and ticks. Definitely give them a both once you return home!
There are several places to park there one by the farm the other by The Visitor Center or up by one of the trails
Yes, they have a restaurant down the road. It's called Malabar Farms Restaurant.
