My sons father hasn’t seen him since my son was 4 months old. The father has made every attempt possible to evade contact by me due to his not wanting to pay support. Finally he was traced after 5,000 dollars was spent by ME, and was ordered to pay support and provide health insurance. Now he refuses to give me the insurance information so I can pass that info along to the doctors offices (the insurance companies also refuse to give me the info). This court, child support, DSS, and EVERYONE else I’ve contacted have done NOTHING. My son sees a pulmonologist for severe asthma and needs an epi pen. They’re legitimately putting my sons life at risk because of their ineptitude. Ridiculous. I hate this county.

A small town/city courthouse and square with post office across the street. Everything you'ld expect except the retired cannon.

I filed for full custody of my two children, and I had requested my abusive ex did not get any visitation. I told the judge on the first appearance, the other party never showed to any court dates prior. He adjourned it by 3 weeks and said if he didnt show, that it would be settled. Next court date settled in my favor. I had fought in another county for years and had 9+ rescheduled dates before I stopped showing up. Thanks to the judge here I was finally able to safely and legally leave the state with my kids! I am so thankful for this man!
