I’m getting so tired of coming to truck stops where people act like they hate their jobs. The young guy working in Dairy Queen was so unprofessional and slamming things down as he was preparing an order. He seemed to be the only one on duty, but had no acknowledgement of the others waiting in line, and ended up running people off. An “I’m sorry for the wait!” or “I apologize we are short staffed today; I’ll be right with you!” would have been feasible. Left out of line and settled for pizza from Godfather’s. Where’s the managers!? Do y’all even have routine performance reviews?!

I’m a local. 7-8 years ago they were the worst with customer service and in 2021 they’re still horrible. The Oreo Blizzard served on 9Jun2021 wasn’t good enough to toss over the fence at a petting zoo. Who has an attitude making and serving ice cream. Geesh!

Bad. When i ask for a strawberry cheescake blzzard. And never find a strawberry in it.the only cheesecake was crumbles. Bad blizzards. Won't. Go back.

In the gas station there was a Dairy Queen and a Subway connected. I visited the Subway which had 11 ppl ahead of me AND only 2 ppl physically working the line. I was patient because we wanted Subway and we were ready to begin our 5 hour travel back home without any further stops. When it was my turn to order i requested a Rotisserie chicken salad and a spinach wrap with Turkey and bacon heated. At this point everything was still going slow but well. But when it was time for my food to be transferred to the person that was adding the veggies she had a total attitude and in the middle of fixing my food she literally left… just turned around, walked to the back and did not come back.... i was telling her what i wanted on the salad & she walked away. About 1 minute another woman came and took her spot she was very nice but it just did not make any sense to me. So I'm giving a 2 star for the following reasons: (1) needed more ppl working the line, most likeky having sum1 to only work the cash register would have been very productive instead of having the person who fixes ur sandwich to remove gloves, ring u up, take ur money, wash thier hands, put on new gloves and begin fixing food to only start all over again. (2) management was looking on but did nothing to facilitate the production; when it was my turn to order it was about 10-15 ppl behind me. (3) don't just walk away in middle of transaction, be respectful. The place was packed with ppl and more were coming.. I will say this subway was clean and food seemed fresh.
