Waited over an hour for our food to arrive before leaving to eat somewhere else. They said it would take an additional 30 minutes before we would get our food. It wasn't even busy and it is pretty sad that they can't get a hamburger and a chicken steak out in less than an hour and a half. Never going back and either should you unless you like waiting an incredible amount of time for your food. VERY SLOW kitchen staff...

I love The Hollow Restaurant in Franklin. We always eat here whenever we in Pendleton County. A really nice locally owned sit down restaurant. A diverse menu as well. You can get burgers and subs as well as meals like country fried steak with 2 sides of choice like green beans or mashed potatoes. Really good spaghetti by the way. I highly recommend it.

Nice selection and good value. Drove from Staunton to Franklin for a Sunday drive. Thought I would try this local restaurant. The staff was friendly and food plentiful. I ordered 2 chili hotdogs with fries and it was more than I could eat. My fiancee ordered Salisbury steak, which they made on premise, and it was delicious (she let me have a bite). They also make homemade pies.Thank you for your review !!!
