First of all tours start at 10 a.m. ticket sells begin at 9: 30. NOT at 8 like Google says. Just the park grounds are open at 8 a.m. for walking on trails only. The interior of the house is just amazing to see. Our tour guide Erin was very nice and informed.

Arrived too late (my own doing) so only got to walk around the grounds, but that was a pleasant experience on its own!

Love this house and its history! The site has different exhibits based on seasons and years. Can't wait to visit again and again!

Yes, even if the house is not open you have public bathrooms. In wintertime the house is open only weekends.
The site is free to enter, but the guided tours of the main house are recommended. There are many programs from about $15.00 to about $40.00; certain weekends are free.
I don't remember seeing any ramps to enter the main house for tours.
No, it's just a small pond
Yes
Not currently. Often free during the week even in season.
The ground are open and free. The house is closed, and tours cost mulah.
I couldn't answer that question. I will recommend that you contact them via email or telephone.
The firefighter museum is very close to Olana State
Hi, I think that the information can be found on their website.
Also there are different types of tours. There are guided tours through each room, as well as times where you can walk through at your leisure and there's someone posted in each room to answer questions.
Very nice park.
Inside no, outside yes.
Credit cards are accepted at the shop where tickets are sold
Yes, there is a cost. Also check their Web site for hours. During this time of the year these sites have modified hours
I agree, just give them a call and make arrangements
To be safe, please check the Olana Foundation Web site in case recent holiday schedule changes are made.
You could check their Web site for updates
You could really bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the good part of the day doing the tour of the house and gardens.
There are a number of benches at the western viewpoint, but you need to take a carriage road to get to them
Just after 10am.
It seems that Frederick Edwin Church, the founder of the property that became known as Olana named it such after returning from an 18 month trip to the Middle East. Someone while on the trip purchased him some Middle Eastern geographical books. It seems he was inspired by some of the names to call this established property 'Olana".
