Took our newborn here for a few months until he got really sick. The doctor forgot to prescribe a medication (that we weren’t aware of) then tried to pass it off on me and my husband for being “new parents.” Last I checked people without medical degrees can’t prescribe medications so we had no way of knowing he needed a second one. I felt like I couldn’t ask questions and was given advice that just seemed wrong (like a two week old needing to sleep through the night). We canceled the rest of our appointments and found a new pediatrician. Update: it’s 2022. We haven’t been to this physician since August 2019 and they called to let me know my son is overdue for his physical. They seem to be a couple years behind.

This place never takes an hr lunch. They always take longer because their phones are never back on line at 1pm. Like it's 1:15 and they're still off.

Wondering the same thing right now what happened friday was 100% the worst experience for me at nemours regarding my son! the dr put my son at 100% risk if i didn't take him to urgent care and listen to my gut we would've ended up in the hospital. The dr ignored a fever of 101.3 and totally missed a double ear infection and a horrible cough. This was at longwood. The dr casually said oh what a cute cough. Excuse me nothing cute was about this cough, Urgent care dr figured out what was wrong and cared more about my son then his actual pediatrician. I'm calling back at 8am today and going to go off! I dont trust his dr to properly take care of my son. I heard amazing things about dr vazquez myself! I have been told 2 different things she is at a different nemours or that she opened up her own practice. I will never trust longwood nemours with my sons care again.
